Promoting Ethical and Sustainable Development in Low- and Middle-Income Countries
Knowledge for Change aims to improve the standard of healthcare and education provision for the poorest members of society in low- and middle-income countries. For over 12 years, we have been working across multiple health facilities to improve the standards of care offered to patients and in schools to support educational opportunities for impoverished, vulnerable or disabled children. The work we do includes infrastructural developments, the provision and repair of essential medical equipment, providing staff training and capacity building, working with local educational institutions to develop new and improved curricula, running staff exchange programmes and providing ethical, high quality placement opportunities for professional volunteers and students. Most of our current projects are based in Uganda and Tanzania.
We loved meeting #CommonwealthFellows23 at the Fellows Welcome Event hosted by @EdCentreCC and @EdinburghUni last week!

We're excited to be at @SalfordUni today for the next #CommonwealthFellows23 Host event!
Our #CleanEnergyAirandOceans Fellows have been forging closer relationships, sharing plans for impact, and looking at alternative clean cooking methods for low-income settings 🍳
