Annet Biira

Midwife

Annet has been Midwife for 9 years and holds a certificate in Enrolled Comprehensive Nursing. Before joining K4C in January 2020, she worked at Kagando Hospital in Kampala where she was based primarily in theatre. She was also involved in the ‘Saving Mothers Giving Life’ programme, run by the Infectious Diseases Institute, aimed at improving the wellbeing of mothers and their newborn babies at Kakindo Health Centre.

Whilst working for K4C, Annet has been based at Kasangati and Kiira Health Centres in Kampala where she plans to expand our cervical screening and treatment programme and continues to provide high quality maternity services for local women.
