Student Elective Placements Now Available

Bespoke placements specifically aimed at medical, nursing, midwifery,
allied health professional and biomedical engineering students will
be available from March onwards in 2016. Students will be accompanied
by an experienced placement lead for the duration of their stay and
will receive additional professional support on the ground from a UK
obstetrician, midwife and biomedical engineer. Students will work in
pairs on organised projects with a strong focus on local sustainability.

Placements are designed to be highly educational, interesting and exciting!
They will also be a great addition to your C.V!

Eligibility
This exciting opportunity is open to all students interested in completing
an elective placement in Fort Portal or Kampala, Uganda, in 2016 or 2017.

Cost
The cost of a placement in Uganda including all flights, accommodation (incl.
free WiFi), in-country travel, insurance and clinical supervision will be:
£1395 – 2 week placement
£1495 – 4 week placement
£1595 – 6 week placement
